Ana and Steph met in their home town of Wellington, New Zealand. Fate brought them together, and before they knew it, they were travelling the world and eventually settling down in Sydney, Australia. Six years on, and these love birds decided that it was time to make things a little bit more official.
Although they lived in Sydney, Australia at the time, “…we wanted to have our civil union over in New Zealand, as that is where all of our family and a lot of our friends live.” As I’m sure all of us can imagine, it was difficult planning their wedding from another country, but the day ended up being absolutely perfect.
With their nearest and dearest, Ana and Steph became wife and wife on the balcony of The Boatshed in Wellington Harbour. And their story is especially magical – a pod of Orcas very spontaneously appeared in the harbour during their stunning reception. Their photographer, Paul Howell, said that it was such a “..touching ceremony and such beautiful vows between two people who are so in love”, that “…there wasn’t a dry eye anywhere!”
Congratulations Steph & Ana! x
